The Abu Dhabi Center for the Arabic Language, affiliated to the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi, opened the world’s largest floating book fair, the “Logos Hope” ship currently in Zayed Port, which welcomes its visitors from May 18 to June 4.

This coincides with the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, which will be held from May 22 to May 28. The opening ceremony was attended by Mohammed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, Saud Al Hosani, Undersecretary of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, and Dr. Ali bin Tamim, President of the Abu Dhabi Center for the Arabic Language.

Saleh Al-Jaziri, General Manager of the Tourism Sector, Saif Al-Mazrouei, Head of Ports Sector, Abu Dhabi Ports Group, Adnan Al-Awadi, Executive Director of Services and Support Sector, Saeed Al-Tunaiji, Executive Director of the Abu Dhabi Center for the Arabic Language, Nora Al-Dhaheri, Director of Cruise Business Management at Abu Dhabi Ports Group, and Sebastian Moncayo, project director of the Logos Hope Floating Gallery project.

Dr. Ali bin Tamim said: “The floating Logos Hope exhibition is a qualitative addition that enriches the Abu Dhabi cultural events schedule and supports our initiatives aimed at establishing a culture of reading.”
