Amman-Al-Ghad- Al-Bayan School / Marj Al-Hamam held its annual cultural party for the creativity of primary school students under the title: “Writers of Tomorrow in Souk Okaz”, in which the school students presented educational stories that they composed throughout the academic year.
The ceremony, which was sponsored by the editor-in-chief of “Wissam” magazine, the poet of Arab childhood, Muhammad Jamal Amr, was attended by the school principal, Ms. Bushra Abdel Hamid, and the primary stage coordinator, Ms. Amal Al-Tamimi, and a group of students’ families, who listened to the meaningful educational stories presented by their children, which they composed Over the course of the school year, they also analyzed these stories into their main elements under the supervision of their teacher, Ms. Rima Al-Barghouti, a writer of children’s literature, and Ms. Tayseer Al-Aeq, theatrical director.
During the ceremony, the poet Muhammad Jamal Amr gave a speech in which he praised the role of the administration and the efforts of those in charge of the work. He also praised the talents of the students and their stories that predict the birth of creative writers, and urged them to coexist in their writings with the events that are going on around them, and gave them an example of the recent earthquake that He hit some countries, and how he interacted with this event, so he wrote his poem for children entitled “Earthquake”, and he read it to them, in which he says:
In our house before dawn.. my mother was screaming and running
Get up at once, children.. The house shook with an earthquake.
Let us immediately go out into the street.. and let us tread carefully.
At the end of the ceremony, Amr presented the students with a summary of his experience and expertise in the world of writing, urging them to be successful writers in the future. Then the students performed the song “Writers of Tomorrow”, which summarizes their writing experience throughout the year.
