The French luxury brand E-TENSE DS7 renewed in Israel

The new infotainment system is among the most important updates made to the renewed DS7 E-TENSE thanks to the use of the innovative DS IRIS system. This system offers a completely new operating interface with full customization capability, a high-resolution 12-inch touch screen to activate the original navigation, which includes traffic and operation updates in Hebrew, climate control, parking cameras, and more. In addition, there is a 12.3-inch screen that functions as a dashboard and presents drivers with all the information they need, as well as in interchangeable displays for selection and customization.

The renewed DS7 E-TENSE is equipped in the 300 and 360 hp versions with the unique DS ACTIVE SCAN SUSPENSION system that uses a high-resolution camera to scan the road ahead and calibrate the suspension according to the quality of the pavement before the vehicle’s wheels meet it. This system is able to notice a change in the surface The asphalt at a rate of up to 5 mm only and accordingly prepare each of the vehicle suspensions independently to meet the bump and absorb it to create perfect driving comfort.

The redesigned DS7 E-TENSE also gets an updated version of the driver alertness safety system. This system uses two cameras, where one takes pictures of the front of the vehicle and analyzes the nature of the vehicle’s driving on the road and in the lane, and a second camera scans the driver’s face and eyelid movements. Combining these two data allows the system to alert if the driver’s level of vigilance decreases.

The renewed DS7 E-TENSE will be offered in Israel with three plug-in-hybrid drive units (PHEV) which are aided by a lithium battery with a capacity of 14.2 kWh compared to 13.2 in the current model. In the third and most powerful version of the renewed DS7 E-TENSE, the power grows to a combined 360 hp and according to you the vehicle systems have been strengthened to cope with the high output. The 360 ​​hp version was designed by the company’s sports department – DS PERFORMANCE and is calibrated for sportier and tighter driving by lowering the suspension by 15 mm, the suspension tensioner Wider by 24mm at the front and 10mm at the rear, the front brakes are enlarged by 380mm, Michelin Pilot Sport tires and DS Performance badges.
