Users of the social networking site Facebook encountered a technical glitch, which led to sending friend requests automatically to people without the users’ knowledge. This happens when you log into any other person’s account.
When you receive friend requests from people unknown to you, you may feel inconvenienced, especially if you do not have any mutual friends, so if you send a friend request to someone because of a Facebook glitch, you can cancel the friend request through the following steps:
1- Click on the search tab at the top of your feed.
2- Type the name of the person to whom you sent a friend request.
3- Go to their profile by selecting their name when it appears.
4- Click on the friend request icon to cancel it.
So far, there is no statement from Facebook about this defect, so users must report any defect or problem in using the Facebook application, by contacting the technical support team to obtain the necessary assistance in resolving the problem..
