In a story closer to fiction, a young Saudi man succeeded in finding his Egyptian mother after a separation of about 32 years, after family disputes between his parents caused their separation.
After the efforts of the Saudi embassy in Cairo, the young Turki Khaled Sunaid al-Sunaid arrived at his mother, who was deprived of her at the age of four, according to the Saudi news site, Sabq.
The young man separated from his mother when she traveled to Cairo to visit her relatives, but his father left her there, and returned to the kingdom with the young man without his mother.
As for the mother, she was told that her son had died, while he was living with his grandmother, the mother of his father, until she died when he was 16 years old.
After that, the young man moved to live with one of his elderly relatives, until he got married at the age of 28, but throughout that period he was searching for his mother through the Egyptian embassy in Riyadh, to no avail.
After that, the young man traveled to Egypt to search for his mother, and he went to the Saudi embassy in Cairo and found the papers related to his parents’ file, and when the concerned Egyptian authorities were contacted, she searched for the missing mother, until she found her, and contacted her through the Saudi embassy, and told her about her son.
The young man thanked the Saudi Embassy in Cairo, headed by Ambassador Osama Naqli, as well as the concerned authorities in Egypt, which contributed to his meeting with his mother after a 32-year separation.
