On a related level, Jordanian designer Muhammad Fahmawi revealed the meanings of the elements of the official logo on his account on “Instagram”, stressing that the title of the news, which bore the plural “we rejoice”, was like a general invitation to Jordanians, Arabs and the world to attend and participate in this joy.
Fahmawi continued his interpretation of the slogan, stressing that choosing the word “joy” indicates the essence of the event.
Pointing out that the first letter (H) was chosen to highlight the name of Crown Prince Al-Hussein, and the letter (R) to highlight the name of Ms. Rajwa Al-Saif.
The Jordanian designer indicated that the traditional and simple Arabic “Thuluth” font was used in the formation of the logo. This is to add a cultural touch and reflect the originality and identity of the Arabic language, in addition to using the slogan (The Royal Jordanian Wedding) in English and the date of the marriage contract.
