Controversy after the disappearance of the singer Amal Maher .. accusations of Turki Al-Sheikh

A wide controversy erupted on social media, about the disappearance of singer Amal Maher.

The journalist, Osama Gawish, and retired football player Ibrahim Saeed, and other personalities, called for revealing the fate of Amal Maher, after rumors circulated that she would be imprisoned on a desert road outside Cairo.

Despite the publication of pictures from the official account of the Egyptian singer a few days ago, doubts about her fate are increasing, and singers demanded that Maher go out in a live broadcast to reveal her current situation.

Activists stated that the dispute that took place between Amal Maher and the advisor in the Saudi Royal Court, Turki Al-Sheikh, in 2018, led to her being hosted by the Saudi official.

In the summer of last year, after announcing the imminent release of a new album, Amal Maher surprised her followers by announcing her retirement.

Maher had previously revealed that she and her family were subjected to severe pressures and harassment, which activists interpreted as due to her dispute with Turki Al-Sheikh, who has influence within the Egyptian sovereign bodies, they said.

Although the captain of the musicians, Hani Shaker, claimed that Maher’s hopes are “good and in good health”, activists have denied him, saying that reassurance is through hearing the singer’s voice and not only oral conversations, citing her family.
