The artist Abdullah Farghali was able to reach the hearts of many theater lovers through his distinguished roles, in addition to his roles in drama and cinema that immortalize his memory.

He was born on March 3, 1928 AD. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree and succeeded in drawing attention to him, even if he was not the hero of the work he presented, but he certainly left a significant mark in the history of Egyptian theater in particular. He began his artistic career with the United Artists Troupe, where he presented the play “My Beautiful Lady” The School of Rioters, in which he embodied the role of Professor Allam Al-Malwani, a teacher with a weak personality who is exploited by the students. This character succeeded in great success and became stuck in the minds of the audience, so that Farghali proved his ability to embody various roles, as the audience loved him in embodying strong and weak personalities, which is considered one of his most famous works. In the play It’s a really respectable family with Fouad Al-Mohandes, a role for a strict man with a strong personality and the boss of Fouad Al-Mohandes in his work, but suddenly and within the events of the play, we find that he appears in a contradictory personality when he encounters his sweetheart since the days of youth, which is a comic paradox, where we find him weak in character and begs Fouad Al-Mohandes to marry the one His mother-in-law, played by Amina Rizk, and the play Hello Shalabi, where he played the role of a bankrupt amateur actor.

He participated in many theatrical groups, all of which were closed, in addition to his works on television, where he presented “My Dear Sons, Thank You” and “Gardens of the Devil.” In the cinema, he presented the films “Land of Hypocrisy” “Uncle Zizou Habibi” and “The Apartment is the Right of the Wife,” in which he played the role of Abdel Maksoud. .

The late artist had suffered severe shortness of breath while he was at home and was immediately transferred to the hospital to die after a long journey of art and creativity, on May 18, 2010 AD at the age of 82, leaving a large and varied artistic legacy between theater, television and cinema.
