ABU DHABI, 18th May, 2020 (WAM) — The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security announced the accreditation of the Emirates Academy for Identity and Citizenship programs by the British Qualifications Authority and the International Association for Intelligence Education in the United States of America, which is one of the most prestigious international bodies awarding internationally accredited professional diploma certificates.
The International Association for Intelligence Education in the United States of America is a specialized entity within the field of security studies, which enhances the strength of the academic and professional programs offered by the Emirates Academy for Identity and Citizenship in light of its fulfillment of all security education requirements internally and externally.
On this occasion, Colonel Mohammed Saeed Al Ameri, Director of the Emirates Academy for Identity and Citizenship at the Authority, confirmed that the accreditation by the British Qualifications Authority and the International Association for Intelligence Education of the academic and professional programs offered by the Academy is evidence of institutional success in devising and approving academic programs that meet the requirements of security education and keep pace with scientific and global changes in Fields of training and scientific qualification, especially for employees of the government sector in the country.
Al-Amiri pointed out that the Emirates Academy for Identity and Citizenship was able, within a few years, to consolidate its position within the UAE as an academic, scientific and training institution in the field of security, administrative, human and financial sciences. For its members to complete their postgraduate studies in any country in the world, which contributes to achieving the strategic goals of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security.
The Director of the Emirates Academy for Identity and Citizenship added that the approved programs at the academy include the Professional Diploma, Institutional Management, Innovation and Future Foresight, in addition to the Professional Diploma and Cyber Security, which aims to provide members with scientific and professional knowledge and skills.
