Al-Sharif added that we were surprised, as Egyptians, not long ago, by the emergence of a campaign from groups called African Centralism, a group that promotes that the history and civilization of Egypt does not belong to the ancient Egyptians, but to the Negroes, claiming that the real Egyptians are of Negro origin and they are the colonial remnants of the ancient occupations that passed through Egypt, but rather The most dangerous thing is that there are new entities that agree with them on this idea. Rather, the Hollywood World Cinema Foundation has sought to present dozens of films about the ancient Egyptian, in which the black-skinned Egyptian man appears.
Facing Afrocentric
Al-Sharif added that the way to confront this talk is first, to educate the Egyptian people about the seriousness of African centralism, second, to pay more attention to teaching Egyptian civilization in school curricula and its impact on humanity, third, to hold seminars, lectures and debates in Egypt and the whole world to confront the cultural invasion, fourth, the return of Egyptian cinema to play its real role. To produce many films to meet the international platforms, fifthly, building new museums and restoring museums and antiquities throughout Egypt and supporting university and school trips for them, and finally creating an exhibition with the names of all those who participated and contributed to the history of Egypt and the establishment of the Egyptian civilization since its unification until now.
