Misr Italia announced the launch of the activities of the second edition of the Bosco International Padel Championship, from May 17-20, 2023, under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Administrative Capital Company for Urban Development, and in cooperation with the Egyptian Padel Federation and the International Padel Federation.
This came in the presence of Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, Eng. Khaled Abbas, Chairman and Managing Director of the Administrative Capital Company for Urban Development, Major General Dr. Eng. And Managing Director of Misr Italia Real Estate Company, Eng. Mohamed Hani Al-Assal, CEO and Managing Director of Misr Italia Real Estate Company, and Ismail Seddik, CEO of Jay Badel Egypt.
The tournament will be held for the second year in a row at the Bosco Javelin Sports Club on the land of the Bosco project, which is built on an area of 200 acres in the New Administrative Capital, with the participation of 400 players from 15 countries, including Sweden, Denmark, Norway, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Morocco, the Emirates, Qatar and Egypt, in addition to the participation of a number of local universities. And international ones, including Canadian universities, Ryerson University, British Coventry universities in the New Administrative Capital, the American University and the German University.
The Minister of Youth and Sports emphasized that the Administrative Capital is one of the largest development projects that Egypt is currently undertaking, as Egypt is witnessing a boom in housing and real estate development along with the development and advancement of sports in many aspects, expressing his happiness at attending this tournament in its second edition. Which is being held in the New Administrative Capital, because of its great potential that the Egyptian state has provided it with.
Eng. Khaled Abbas, Chairman and Managing Director of the Administrative Capital Company for Urban Development, said that the Bosco International Exchange Championship is one of the activities that the Capital Company is keen to support in an effort to promote the giant national project that belongs to the latest fourth-generation cities, explaining that the tournament is an opportunity to learn about the latest developments in the work. Within the capital and show the size of achievement and business development, which is increasing day by day.
Abbas added that the championship, in its second edition, is one of the biggest events taking place in the New Administrative Capital, and we always seek to attract such championships to Egypt within the framework of plans to support sports tourism and to emphasize the importance of supporting various sports.
Mohamed Khaled Al-Assal, CEO and Managing Director of Misr Italia Real Estate, said that this year’s championship includes a large number of padel players from several countries, in addition to a number of university students, in order to encourage the adoption of healthy lifestyles in Egypt, within one of the ways The company’s investment represented in the sports infrastructure in line with the government’s vision to build the latest sports facilities, and create a culture of sports and fitness in our communities, explaining that the company has already built many sports facilities, the largest of which is the Bosco Javelin Sports Club, the first phase of which was opened last year, which It includes paddle courts, and the new phases will include football fields, basketball courts, and tennis courts.
