Adrift Burger Bar announced the opening of its first permanent branch in the UAE, at Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi. This step comes after the great success achieved by Advertisement Burger Bar during Expo 2020 Dubai last year. The new branch opens its doors under the management of Michelin-starred chef David Myers, known as “Gypsy Chef”, in partnership with Emirati investors, By Me Burger and Orega Consulting.

Luce, who created the Adrift Burger Bar pop-up restaurants in Venice Beach and Dubai. The new restaurant in Yas Mall features cultural and design elements inspired by Venice Beach and Tokyo, with creative touches and designs that include wavy patterns and distinctive elements such as Japanese shosujiban wood. The Adrift Burger Bar branch in Yas Mall has a unique atmosphere inspired by Venice Beach and the minimalist style of Tokyo, with local cultural details evident in a specially designed artwork inspired by the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi; The interlocking lines and floral motifs inspired by the mosque’s architecture stand out, including hand-picked flowers that were pressed and dried before being incorporated into the design and sealed with glaze.
