The Culture and Arts Authority in Dubai, “Dubai Culture”, revealed the start of preparations for organizing the “Time and Identity” exhibition, which will be hosted by Al-Safa Library for Art and Design next August, with the participation of a group of Emirati artists and creators.
The exhibition aims to discover local talents in all fields of arts and culture, develop the skills of their owners, support them and motivate them to pursue their creative passion, in addition to expanding the scope of their participation in enriching the local art scene.

The “Time and Identity” exhibition represents a new creative platform through which the authority shakes hands with various art lovers, and opens horizons for Emirati talents.
It contributes to enabling them to display their works and various artistic experiences, which is in harmony with Dubai’s cultural vision aimed at consolidating the emirate’s position as a global center for culture, an incubator for creativity, and a meeting place for talents, as the exhibition contributes to creating a sustainable artistic environment capable of supporting the cultural and creative industries in Dubai.

In this context, “Dubai Culture” invited all professional and emerging Emirati artists and creators to participate in their ready-made creative and visual works, within the arts of formation, drawing, sculpture, photography, design and calligraphy, in addition to multimedia, provided that the works are inspired by the exhibition’s slogan “Time and Identity”.
June 11 will be the last date for receiving applications, which a committee of experts and artists will sort through and determine the works eligible to participate in the exhibition.
