Counselor Salah Bufarousha Al Falasi, First Attorney General and Head of the Traffic and Traffic Prosecution in Dubai, and Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, Director of the General Traffic Department in Dubai Police, discussed aspects of enhancing joint cooperation in legal fields, legislation, systems and other programs.
Major General Al Mazrouei praised the existing cooperation between the General Traffic Department and the Traffic Prosecution in various fields and the work to enhance joint cooperation and exchange of experiences, praising the distinguished relations that bind the two sides in common fields, stressing the importance of joint work and working to activate it.
The two sides reviewed during the meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the Traffic and Traffic Prosecution, in the presence of Colonel Issam Ibrahim Al-Awar, Acting Deputy Director of the General Traffic Department.
Lieutenant Colonel Abdul Rahman Obaid Al Falasi, Director of the Administrative Affairs Department, and Lieutenant Colonel Mansour Saeed Al Assar, Head of the Complaints and Observations Department.
Major Muhammad Khalifa Al Qaizi, Head of the GCC Violations Follow-up Section, discussed a number of issues of common interest, especially with regard to developments in the electronic link between the two sides regarding traffic violations.
The challenges and problems of the car rental sector related to violations and non-collection by the lessee were also reviewed, in addition to reviewing complaints, observations and objections received by traffic and on behalf of traffic violations.
The meeting also discussed holding workshops for the owners of car rental offices to explain the mechanism of opening a report to collect violations from the tenant.
