The Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) is participating in the activities of the Sharjah Real Estate Exhibition (ICRES), which will be held from May 25 to 28 at the Sharjah Expo Centre, where it will reveal to visitors in Hall 1 the latest developments and investment opportunities within 3 of its projects, which is the Khorfakkan residential project. Sharjah Sustainable City, and Maryam Island.
Shurooq’s participation coincides with the expectations of the leading global consulting firms that the real estate sector in the United Arab Emirates will maintain its flexibility throughout 2023, as Shurooq aims to keep pace with these expectations by providing more world-class options for investors and clients, individuals and institutions from the Emirate of Sharjah and various countries of the world.
- Khorfakkan project
Shurooq presents to the visitors of “Acres” the developments of the Khorfakkan project, the integrated real estate investment project on the Khorfakkan beach, as it embodies the vision of “Shurooq” to meet the growing demand for the eastern region and increase its attractiveness as a preferred destination for visitors and investors.
The project consists of 6 residential buildings including 184 apartments overlooking the Gulf of Oman. The residential units include restaurants and shops located on the ground floor to serve residents and visitors. The project is scheduled to be completed in 2024.
- Sharjah Sustainable City
Within the framework of its projects that support the environment, resources, and healthy lifestyles, Shurooq provides visitors to the Sharjah Real Estate Exhibition with updates on the sustainable city of Sharjah, which was developed in cooperation between Shurooq and Diamond Developers, and began welcoming residents in August 2022, after the delivery of the first phase of the villas. Futuristic eco-friendly community that’s completely sold out.
After the completion of the first three phases of the project, Shurooq will announce the final phase of the city’s works within the exhibition activities, and visitors to its pavilion will be introduced to all that the city has to offer, which extends over an area of 7.2 million square feet in accordance with the highest standards of social, environmental and economic sustainability. And the first of its kind in Sharjah, which relies entirely on energy sources with zero net emissions, starting from treating waste water to irrigate green spaces, recycling the largest possible amount of waste, and ending with encouraging residents to walk and use clean transportation. Maryam Island is one of the largest and most prominent mixed-use projects in Sharjah, as it includes a variety of luxury residential apartments, restaurants and cafes on the waterfront, in addition to various recreational facilities such as a spa, fitness club, swimming pool, children’s play area, port and green spaces. . After the completion of the first phase of the project, which includes 688 luxury residential units, a swimming pool, a children’s play area and a multi-directional beach view, as well as a variety of restaurants and cafes, the second phase of the project has been launched, and is scheduled to be completed this year. It enhances the position of Maryam Island as a unique and attractive tourist destination.
The Maryam Island project, developed by Shurooq in partnership with Eagle Hills Real Estate, is characterized by easy access to the entire Emirate of Sharjah, in addition to the neighboring Emirates, as it is 10 km from Dubai International Airport and 15 km from the University of Sharjah.
