During the meeting, the Speaker of Egypt’s Youth Parliament reviewed the importance of the Youth Parliament Division, as it is a real opportunity for young people to obtain the necessary expertise that qualifies for public, political and societal work, through organizing dialogue meetings and seminars with the participation of a distinguished group of former political and executive leaders. It also helps to promote the values of loyalty and belonging to the homeland. As a political, social and youth platform that consolidates the meanings of effective and constructive dialogue under the umbrella of the state and through the Ministry of Youth and Sports in various youth and sports clubs.
Youth political work experiences
The Speaker of Egypt’s Youth Parliament added that the Youth Parliament Division within the sports clubs in the governorates is a real simulation of the parliament, in which young people acquire political work experiences to become political cadres in the future capable of participating in all events and constitutional entitlements that the country is going through, inviting the Governor of Sharkia to attend the first inauguration sessions of the Division Eastern Youth Parliament.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports indicated that the Directorate was able to form youth entities in the scope of clubs and youth facilities in the governorate to create a new generation of volunteers to serve the community in Sharkia, pointing out that 15 clubs equipped with material and human capabilities were selected to host seminars and various dialogue meetings.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports added that the Sharkia Governorate has the lead in implementing the youth initiatives and projects of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, as it is always at the level of the event, and it also has a fundamental role in implementing the youth engagement initiative to review the implementation of service and national projects being implemented on the territory of the governorate to inform them of the achievements made by the state. in all fields.
Division of the Youth Parliament within the sports clubs
The governor praised the idea of inaugurating the Youth Parliament Division within the sports clubs in the governorate, which coincides with the launch of the national dialogue sessions taking place in the country with the participation of a large elite of politicians, intellectuals, and representatives of parties and unions, in order to contribute to building the new Egypt that we dream of.
The Governor of Al-Sharqia indicated that the dialogue meetings aim to open a real channel of communication between the state and the youth through which visions and directions are exchanged in a real way, as well as a review of the problems and issues that have priority for all segments of the people and the opportunity to present their proposals and initiatives in order to reach a common vision between the state and the youth. Stressing that young people are an essential pillar in the progress and advancement of society, as they are active energy that must be exploited to participate in the development and construction process for the advancement of the country.
