The sports league competitions and exhibitions of girls’ and women’s clubs, organized by the branch of the General Federation of Egyptian Youth Centers, have concluded, in cooperation with the Directorate of Youth and Sports in Alexandria Governorate.

The conclusion was attended by Dr. Maged Al-Azazy, President of the General Federation of Egyptian Youth Centers, Dr. Safaa Al-Sharif, Undersecretary of the Ministry and Director of the Directorate of Youth and Sports in Alexandria, Dr. Mohamed Suleiman, Treasurer of the General Federation of Egyptian Youth Centers, and Dr. Mohamed El-Sadat, member of the Board of Directors of the General Federation of Egyptian Youth Centers.
For his part, Dr. Majed Al-Azzazi stressed in his speech that Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, pays attention to this initiative because of the benefit it provides to young people in terms of investing their energies and developing their capabilities, at the level of the governorates of the Republic, in line with the vision and directives of the political leadership, to raise awareness among young people in All governorates of Egypt, and motivate him to practice sports to preserve public health, given that youth are the main axis in achieving development, stressing that these events will produce many sports talents from the people of the governorate in various games and mathematics.
Al-Azzazi appreciated the efforts made by the organizers of the events, which aim to encourage young people through the establishment of many sports, cultural and artistic activities, as well as girls’ and women’s clubs.
The events, which were hosted by the Al-Haramain Youth Center, included holding final qualifiers in games (five-a-side football, handball, basketball, volleyball for girls, and table tennis), as well as exhibitions of girl and woman’s products, in addition to presenting a group of performances and artistic celebrations.
The Abu Qir Youth Center won first place and the governorate cup in football, handball, Al-Dhahiriya Youth Center, basketball, Al-Haramain Youth Center in basketball, Smouha Youth Center in girls volleyball, Al-Haramain Youth Center in table tennis, and in the exhibition of girl and woman products, the Center Youth of the Two Holy Mosques.
