ABU DHABI, 12th May / WAM / Under the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, National Security Adviser, His Excellency Ali Saeed Al Neyadi, Chairman of the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority, honored the authority’s leaders, partners, sponsors and participants in the summit activities Emergency and Crisis Management 2023, which was held on May 9 and 10 in Abu Dhabi.

During the honoring ceremony, His Excellency praised the great efforts made by the partners, sponsors, speakers and session directors for the success of the summit activities in an honorable manner befitting the status and reputation of the UAE in organizing specialized international events and events, especially since this event witnesses a high-level presence and speakers from different countries of the world.

His Excellency stressed that the success of the Emergency and Crisis Management Summit for this year is a challenge for the next edition in which we look forward to presenting the best at the local and international levels, calling on everyone to continue providing the best and actively participating in all activities organized by the authority to improve work and develop the outputs of the goals and vision drawn by the wise leadership. for the UAE.

His Excellency Ali Saeed Al Neyadi honored the various distinguished committees, teams and cells that left a desired impact in the face of the Covid 19 pandemic.

A number of the Authority’s former leaders, His Excellency Muhammad Khalfan Al Rumaithi, honored His Excellency Dr. Jamal Al Hosani, and His Excellency Shahwan Suroor Al Dhaheri, in recognition of their dedicated work and sincerity during their work in the National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority.

His Excellency Obaid Al-Hussan Al Shamsi, Vice Chairman of the National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority, honored the distinguished entities that obtained a certificate of compliance in applying the National Standard for Business Continuity after passing all stages of the evaluation process and ensuring that all system standards are met, as well as the entities that distinguished themselves and made unremitting efforts in confronting COVID-19 pandemic.

Several entities won the Certificate of Compliance in the implementation of the National Standard for Business Continuity, namely, “Union Water and Electricity”, Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research, Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, Communications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority, Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, Ministry of Finance, Emirates Investment Authority, National Ambulance and the Securities and Commodities Authority.

In the same context, the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority, represented by its Director General Ali Rashid Al Neyadi, honored the partners, namely the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Interior, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation as strategic partners for the summit, the Emirates News Agency “WAM” as a media partner, Sky News Arabia as an international media partner, Etisalat from e& as a digital strategic partner, Rabdan Academy as an academic partner, and Trends Center for Research and Consulting as a consulting partner, in addition to the speakers and session managers participating in the activities of the first day of the Emergency and Crisis Management Summit 2023 and awarding them certificates of appreciation.

It is noteworthy that the summit witnessed the active participation of senior officials from inside and outside the country and employees of departments, ministries and institutions concerned with emergency, crisis and disaster management, and it included many axes and topics that were raised in the field of emergencies and crises.
