SHARJAH, 17th May / WAM / The Islamic Forum in Sharjah, within the series of Islamic culture programs, concluded the lessons of the Scientific Council, “Rules of Hajj, Question and Answer”, which was held for two weeks in Khor Fakkan and was presented by Sheikh Ali Al Balushi – the preacher in the Islamic Affairs Department in Sharjah, with the participation of a group of those interested in the pillar. The fifth of the pillars of Islam, and the performance of the rituals of Hajj.
During the council, the merits of this venerable act of worship were recognized, and the pillars, duties, and drawbacks of Hajj were reviewed. The council witnessed the interaction of a number of students of Islamic studies and a large segment of the region’s individuals in Khorfakkan, where the Islamic Forum accompanies the knowledge activity that the Emirate of Sharjah is witnessing with a wide range of activities. Cultural and scientific programs, the most prominent of which is the Scientific Councils initiative.
Majed Bushlaibi, Secretary-General of the Islamic Forum, confirmed that the Foundation takes it upon itself to provide the community with the various sciences of Islamic culture, and to educate individuals about legal knowledge in disciplined scientific and academic frameworks throughout the emirate.
And he indicated that the Islamic Forum adopts a cultural strategy for reviving mosques and building them with mosque lessons and scientific councils, through which the community is educated about the virtue of religious worship as well as various scientific lessons in the fragrant Prophet’s biography. With the honorable prophetic approach in performing the rituals of worship in general and the affairs of Hajj in particular.
The Scientific Council reviewed in detail the rituals of Hajj from the rulings of this great ritual, and the times of Hajj – temporal and spatial times.
