Helwan University, headed by Dr. El-Sayed Kandil, President of Helwan University, participates in the CDIS-EGYPT Egypt Conference and Exhibition for Cybersecurity and Information Intelligence Systems. It is also a sponsor of the conference in its first edition at the Egypt International Exhibition Center, under the auspices of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.

Dr. El-Sayed Kandil affirmed the university’s interest in students’ participation in events that contribute to their acquisition of many experiences, skills, and exposure to the labor market and the surrounding community, and to introduce them to the latest findings of the modern world, indicating that Helwan University is basically a technological university and is distinguished by its engineering and technological specializations and artificial intelligence.

During the participation of Helwan University, a group of student projects in the field of engineering, computers and artificial intelligence were presented that correspond to the theme of the conference and exhibition at the Faculties of Engineering in Helwan and Computers and Artificial Intelligence, including the automated house cleaning project, which aims to use artificial intelligence to help people accomplish their daily tasks, with Maintaining the security of the house by displaying a live video of the rooms it enters, and another project to simulate a network of electronic devices for institutions, and work to monitor the types of data and information across the network to predict the existence of any danger and try to prevent it in order to secure the existing devices from penetration and protect the data and information that is received It is transmitted, along with a project to protect against ARP spoofing attacks by making a modified POX SDN console to prevent attacks without the need for encryption mechanisms, which makes it reliable and cost-effective, and helps improve network security, in addition to the I-SOC project, and the Student Records project as NFT.

The conference covers all aspects related to cybersecurity, resilience in the face of cyberattacks as a strategic necessity for countries, how to deal with cybersecurity and governance, as well as achieving risk management and resilience at the national level, which gives the possibility of expressing views, presenting ideas and exchanging experiences through sessions that include Also inspiring discussions on cloud computing and cyber security at the national level, the use of artificial intelligence and intelligence to identify early warning of crises, and the prevention and management of digital fraud in the financial services industry.
