The Russian Embassy in Washington confirmed that the report of US Chancellor John Durham on the 2016 US elections denied allegations of a relationship between President Donald Trump and Russia.
And the Russian embassy stressed, according to (Russia Today) channel, Thursday, that these allegations were the product of the imagination of some American officials. With the aim of achieving internal political goals, adding that the existence of an alleged relationship with former President Trump with Moscow is nothing more than a mere fruit of the imagination of some American officials who decided to play the Russian card to achieve internal political purposes.
She noted that the US side took advantage of the allegations of Russian interference in the 2016 elections, in order to impose many sanctions, expel some diplomats and confiscate the property of the Russian state, as it became one of the reasons for the collapse of bilateral relations.
On the ground, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces stated, in a statement carried by the Ukrainian news agency (Ukrainform), that the death toll of Russian soldiers has risen to about 201,100 soldiers, since the start of the military operation on February 24 of last year.
And the authority stated that – during this period – Russia also lost 3 thousand and 773 tanks, 7 thousand and 373 armored vehicles, 3 thousand and 198 artillery systems, 563 multiple rocket launcher systems, 318 air defense systems, 308 combat aircraft, 294 helicopters, 18 warships, as well as 6 Thousands and 73 vehicles and fuel tanks, in addition to 418 special equipment, 2,759 drones, and 990 cruise missiles were shot down.
