The Control and Anti-Corruption Authority has initiated procedures for the arrest of two employees, one of whom works in the General Court in Jeddah Governorate in the sixth rank, and the other works in the office of the President of the General Court in Jeddah Governorate in the ninth rank.
She added that the first employee is named Ayman Abdul-Razzaq Muhammad Salawati, and he received an amount of 250 thousand riyals out of the amount of 500 thousand riyals in bribe from a citizen, in exchange for opening sessions in the Court of Appeal, and overturning the ruling issued against him in the case between him and one of the invested companies in Jeddah Governorate, The judge imposed a fine of more than 7 million riyals.
She added that the second employee was named Ali Muhammad Ahmed Al-Douqi, and he received his share of the bribe amount that was delivered to the first, amounting to 125 thousand riyals, in exchange for his role in the case.
The authority affirmed that it continues to monitor and control anyone who exploits the job to achieve his personal interest or to harm the public interest and hold him accountable even after the termination of his relationship with the job, since financial and administrative corruption crimes do not fall under the statute of limitations, adding that it is continuing to implement what the system requires against transgressors without complacency.
