The Embassy of Egypt in Sweden organized a forum that included 13 department heads and professors from the Faculty of Engineering at Pharos University and their counterparts from KTH University in Sweden, in addition to a number of Egyptians working in the field of advanced technologies, in order to benefit from Sweden’s expertise in scientific fields, especially with regard to innovation and emerging partnerships. .
It was agreed among the attendees to support and develop the current cooperation between the two universities, and to discuss the possibility of extending cooperation to include postgraduate studies, as well as increasing the pace of student and professor exchange between them.
Also, I discussed ways to benefit from the experience of Sweden and KTH University in linking the academic community with the business community, so that the research reflects positively on economic activities in Egypt, and considers the possibility of benefiting from the available expertise to support and create partnerships with emerging entities in Egypt in the field of innovation and advanced technologies. This contributes to supporting scientific development in Egypt and achieving additional economic gains.
