The newly promoted Al Wahda club for the 2022-2023 season of the Saudi League continues to strengthen its ranks strongly in the current summer transfer period in order to achieve the goals of the Knights of Makkah in the next season.
Al Wahda had succeeded in signing Frenchman Jean Bogle from Czech Republic Viktoria Plzen, and the club also announced that it had signed Moroccan playmaker Faycal Fajr, and was linked to the inclusion of Cameroonian Michael Ngadou, the Belgian defender from Ghent.
According to the Saudi newspaper, “Al-Youm”, the unit is linked to the contract with the young Egyptian national team winger, Omar Marmoush, for one season on loan.
Marmoush, the German player from Wolfsburg, can play in the right or left wing position, and he is also good at playing as a fake striker. He has previously played for the Egyptian national team in 13 matches, and managed to score a single goal against Libya, in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

Marmoush starred with the Pharaohs team in the last African Nations Cup, which was held in Cameroon, and had a prominent role in qualifying Egypt to the final of the tournament.
The 23-year-old played on loan at Stuttgart from Wolfsburg last season and participated in 23 matches in various competitions and managed to score 3 goals in addition to making 5 goals.
It is worth noting that Marmoush’s contract with Wolfsburg expires at the end of next season in June 2023.
