Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Activists on social media circulated a video clip of the dinner hosted by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who visited Turkey.
The circulating video was published by Badr Asaker, Director of the Private Office of the Saudi Crown Prince, on his official Twitter page, where he commented: “A musical expression with Saudi words, embodying the celebration of the visit of His Highness, Prince Muhammad bin Salman, during the dinner hosted by His Excellency Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan .. “
Asaker continued, “The affection and brotherhood were and will remain evidence of the ties that bind the Saudi and Turkish peoples, reinforced by the determination of the two leaderships to move forward for the good.”
The video clip shows the Saudi crown prince and the Turkish president sitting alone at the dinner table with an interpreter between them.
After the visit, the Saudi and Turkish sides issued a joint statement in which they emphasized “the launch of a new era of cooperation in bilateral relations, including political, economic, military and security.”
