Through its participation in the 3-day exhibition that opens tomorrow at the Dubai World Trade Center, Ducab seeks to attract and enhance national talent and provide suitable job opportunities that allow them to excel and create, especially in the fields of industry, electronic, chemical, mechanical and electrical engineering, as well as administrative and executive positions.
Khaled Nasser Lootah, Ducab Board Member and Head of the Emiratisation Committee in the group stressed the importance of empowering young talents in the industrial sector, and providing them with knowledge and expertise through training programs and practical grants, to enable them to lead the industrial sector in the country, translating the directives and vision of the rational leadership that places the citizen At the top of its priorities, giving it full attention as the pivotal element in all comprehensive and sustainable development processes leading to the UAE Centennial.
He expressed his confidence that Emirati competencies will have a pivotal and effective role in raising the industrial sector’s contribution to the GDP from 133 billion dirhams to 300 billion dirhams by 2031, in line with the objectives of the national strategy for industry and advanced technology “the 300 billion project.”
For her part, Mona Mohamed Fikri, Chief Human Resources Officer at Ducab, confirmed that national competencies occupy 60% of the group’s executive positions in its various departments and departments, and 27% of middle management positions, and they have a major role in the success of the group’s operations, while the jobs that can be localized in them reached 37%, as the group currently includes 74 Emirati engineers, emphasizing the superiority of these competencies, their creativity and their passion for learning knowledge and refining their skills, and their prominent role in achieving exceptional and qualitative results at all levels.
