DUBAI, 20th September / WAM/ The Dubai Municipality is participating in the “Emirates Vision 2022 Exhibition”, which is considered the most important employment, education and training event for UAE nationals, between 20 and 22 September, at the Dubai World Trade Center.
The participation of Dubai Municipality in the exhibition aims to encourage Emirati youth to take advanced steps to achieve success, support their professional and personal development, and implement the directives of the wise leadership on promoting the Emiratisation file in the Emirate of Dubai, as part of the municipality’s efforts to achieve its strategic goals through implementing programs and projects to attract the best national talent and provide Qualification, training and professional support opportunities by adopting the Emiratisation policy and increasing its percentage of the total Dubai Municipality employees.
Dubai Municipality launched the “Jobs of the Future” initiative with the aim of attracting, sending and nurturing students to join according to the fields and future specializations required in them, with training and development in cooperation with the private sector, in translation of the municipality’s objectives in developing human capital and enhancing its capabilities through training, qualification and early preparation of cadres in line with the vision of the Emirate of Dubai future.
The approved tracks for future jobs were designed based on the areas of municipal work, and included the engineering track with the specialization of 3D printing, the digital track, which includes artificial intelligence and digital data science, and the food safety track with the specialization of big data analysis.
During its participation in the exhibition, the municipality will display the “Guide Me Program”, which aims to guide high school students and make them aware of future directions for jobs and the importance of choosing a university major appropriate to their academic desires, in line with the vision and strategy of the UAE and its future aspirations.
It will also showcase the various specializations occupied by citizens in the municipality, as it attracts various specializations such as engineering in its various fields, veterinary medicine and others, in addition to reviewing success stories of municipality employees in order to inform participants about the fields of work and opportunities for career progression.
Dubai Municipality launched the “Ruwad” initiative for the newly graduated by adopting and training them in technical and administrative fields that support the municipality. Institutional Planning and Governance Public Utilities Waste and Sanitation Regulation and Licensing of Buildings Environment, Health and Safety.
The municipality stated that a number of jobs will be announced in the engineering fields, most notably in the specializations of civil, architectural and mechanical engineering, to guide participants to submit their applications through the “Dubai Jobs” platform. A workshop will also be organized to guide and train job seekers and introduce them to the foundations of successful interviews.
Dubai Municipality takes the Emiratisation policy as a mainstay in the process of increasing the percentage of total and qualitative Emiratisation for holders of bachelor’s and high school degrees from citizens within its cadres through an ambitious plan to invest energies in various administrative and professional sectors and support them to complete the construction and development process. The staff is equipped with the latest facilities and technologies for training and rehabilitation.
