The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published today (Wednesday) new details about the assassination of Daoud Jaafari, an officer with the rank of lieutenant colonel serving in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Air Force and an expert on UAVs and drones.
According to the publication, there was the installation of an explosive device on Jaafari’s vehicle near the south of the capital Damascus. However, the Syrians do not yet know of a specific person who carried out the assassination, and Iran points the finger of blame at Israel.
As mentioned, in recent times a large number of attacks attributed to Israel were reported in Syria, when the Haruna took place over the weekend. According to these reports, four soldiers were killed in the attack in question. Several days before, another attack was attributed – when its target was the area of the city of Homs.
