It is believed that some spices can reduce inflammation and the resulting changes in the hormonal balance in the body. The most important spices for these purported benefits are turmeric, black pepper, ginger and cinnamon.

It can affect fat cells, liver cells, pancreatic cells, and fat cells of the organism. It prevents inflammatory agents by interacting with fat cells and other cell types.

Pepper essential oil

The capsaicin in peppers reduces the production of fat cells and reduces inflammatory cell signals. This makes pepper a powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant.

Ginger has the highest concentration of active ingredients — such as gingerol — among spices. The spice has shown properties to reduce triglycerides, cholesterol, glucose and insulin. It may even improve glucose-insulin uptake, possibly treating diabetes.
