Emirates News Agency – Federal National Council discusses two draft federal laws and asks 5 questions during Wednesday’s session

ABU DHABI, 25th November / WAM / The Federal National Council will hold its second session of the fourth regular session of the seventeenth legislative term, chaired by His Excellency Saqr Ghobash, Chairman of the Council, next Wednesday at the Council’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi, during which it will discuss a draft federal law regarding the organization of the General Sports Authority And a draft federal law in the matter of sports, and directs five questions to His Excellency the Minister of Education.

According to the session’s agenda, the members of the Council will ask five questions to His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Abdullah Hamid Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Education. His Excellency Naameh Abdulrahman Al Mansouri will ask a question about “providing education opportunities in public universities for deaf people of determination,” and His Excellency Kifah Mohammed Al Zaabi will address A question about “integrating the curricula of Islamic education, Arabic language and social studies.” His Excellency Obaid Khalfan Al-Salami asked a question about “the length of hours of the school day and its impact on the student healthily, socially and academically.” His Excellency Sumaya Hareb Al-Suwaidi asked a question about “delaying the equivalence of higher education certificates issued from outside State”, while Her Excellency Dr. Sheikha Obaid Al Tunaiji asked a question about “the ministry’s future plan to meet the needs of government schools for national teachers for the primary and secondary levels.”

The Council reviews the decrees by federal laws that were issued, and approves the minutes of the first session held on November 21, 2022 AD.
