Spanish Real Madrid, led by its coach Carlo Ancelotti, failed to reach the Champions League final in the current season 2022-2023, after losing to Manchester City, England, by 4-0, in the second leg of the semi-final, after a 1-1 tie.
In the final match of the Champions League, Manchester City will face its Italian counterpart, Inter Milan, who succeeded in eliminating its neighbor Milan, 3-0.
City and Inter succeeded in ending Carlo Ancelotti’s promise to Paolo Maldini, after the end of the Champions League draw, to face Real and Milan in the final match of the current edition of the tournament.
In another context, press reports confirmed that the Italian, Carlo Ancelotti, will remain at the helm of the Real Madrid team next season, despite the bitter exit from the Champions League against Manchester City on Wednesday.
Real Madrid fell to Manchester City 0-4 in the second leg of the Champions League semi-finals, to bid farewell to the championship competitions, after drawing 1-1 in the first leg.
And according to the Spanish newspaper “Marca”, the Real Madrid administration confirmed that Ancelotti will remain in the royal training seat, and there is no intention to dismiss him after the humiliating quadruple that the team received in front of the Citizens in the Champions League yesterday.
