Surprisingly, Salah was excluded from the list of stars of the season in the Premier League

Salah was surprisingly left out of this season’s Premier League star list

Many observers expressed their surprise at the absence of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, Liverpool’s top scorer, from the shortlist for the award for best player in the English Premier League.

The list included Manchester City duo Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne, Arsenal duo Martin Odegaard and Pocayo Saka, Manchester United star Marcus Rashford, Tottenham star Harry Kane and Newcastle star Kieran Trippier.

They believe that Salah, despite Liverpool’s poor season, performed admirably on a personal level and deserved to be at least among the contenders for the season’s best player award.

Note that Salah scored 19 goals and is the fourth top scorer in the tournament, in addition to 10 assists.
