Al-Hilal has not yet officially announced Diaz’s departure, but all indications confirm this, especially after he was granted permission to travel to his country and decided to complete the season with his assistant and son Emiliano, and the veteran coach’s contract with the club expires at the end of the current season.

Relevo made it clear that the management of Al-Hilal, led by Fahd bin Nafel, placed Jardim at the head of the candidates to succeed Diaz, especially after his remarkable success with Al-Ahly youth and his leadership of the team to win the UAE League, indicating that it is trying to persuade him to agree to return.
