Six of Europe’s elite clubs will play friendlies in the United States next July, the organizers of the “Soccer Champions Tour” announced on Friday.
The Spanish giants, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United, Arsenal, Juventus and Milan, will participate in the eight-match round.
The tour will kick off with a match between Barcelona and Juventus at Levi’s Stadium in San Francisco, and will include the “El Clasico” between Real Madrid and Barcelona at the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys stadium on July 29.
Manchester United’s only match in the round will be against Real Madrid on the 26th of the same month in Houston, while Arsenal will play its only match against Barcelona at the “Sovie” stadium in Los Angeles.
“We are proud to be partnering with the world’s most famous clubs, some of the world’s strongest and most passionate fans, to provide American fans with this rare opportunity to experience the highest level,” said Alan Waxman, CEO and co-founder of Six Street, the tour company.
United and Arsenal play other matches in the United States outside of the tour, and are due to face off at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on July 22.
Arsenal also play against the MLS All-Star Team in Washington on the 19th of the same month.
