A Source within the Zamalek club revealed that he had entered into the door of negotiations with the Cameroonian striker, Martimo, to join the team, starting next season.
The Source confirmed that the Zamalek administration is very interested in contracting with the player, after watching some of his recordings, and they praised his level greatly.
The Source explained that the Portuguese coach, Josefaldo Ferreira, Zamalek, inquired of some of his close associates in Portugal about the player, and they recommended the deal.
Tajo was previously nominated to some clubs in the past period, but the deal did not succeed before the matter settled with Zamalek entering the door of negotiations with the player.
Zamalek is preparing to meet the Chadian team Elect next Sunday evening in the second leg of the 64th round of the African Champions League after winning two goals without a response in the first leg.
A Source in the technical staff of the first football team in Zamalek confirmed that club officials are anticipating the decision of the Confederation of African Football regarding Zamalek’s request to postpone the Chadian Elect match in the second leg of the first preliminary round of the African Champions League.

Zamalek had asked “CAF” to postpone the return match against the Chad champion to be held on September 30, instead of the 25th of this month, due to the presence of international players with their national teams.

Zamalek is currently waiting for the CAF response in order to determine the first team program in the coming days, in light of the decision.

The first football team in Zamalek Club will resume its training this evening, Tuesday, at the club’s stadium, in preparation for facing Chad’s Elect in the second leg of the preliminary round of the African Champions League, scheduled for Cairo International Stadium on September 25.

The Portuguese coach Josefaldo Ferreira, coach of Zamalek, gave the players a rest yesterday after returning from Cameroon.
