The Zamalek training, which was held today, Tuesday, at the Abdellatif Abourgila stadium at the club’s headquarters, witnessed the absence of many players due to joining the list of the first national team or the Olympic team, and the Tunisian national team.
And absent from the training are Mohamed Sobhi, Ahmed Sayed “Zizou”, Imam Ashour, Mahmoud Hamdi “Al Wensh” and Ahmed Fattouh due to joining the first national team camp, in preparation for the Niger and Liberia countries on 23 and 27 of this month.
At the same time, Tunisian duo Hamza Mathlouthi and Seif Eddine Jaziri are absent from the training due to joining the Carthage Eagles camp.
In a related context, the young player, Mohamed Tarek, is absent due to joining the camp of the Olympic national team, which is currently being held in preparation for the African qualifiers for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
The duo, Hossam Abdel Majid and Saif Farouk Jaafar, players of the team, performed special qualifying exercises inside the gymnasium at the club’s headquarters, on the sidelines of the team’s training that was held today, Tuesday.
This comes according to a training program designed for the duo by the technical staff led by Portuguese Josevaldo Ferreira, in order to treat fatigue and prepare them appropriately for the coming period.
Hossam Abdel Majid and Saif Farouk Jaafar were satisfied with performing the qualifying exercises inside the gymnasium and not participating in the team’s group training, according to the decision of the Portuguese coach, Ferreira.
