Premier League

60% of the 40 clubs surveyed are considering stopping the development of their stadiums as a result of this crisis, while 38% of the clubs are preparing to review the wages of employees, away from the football team.

The results of the survey came at a time when the English Premier League clubs are preparing to hold further discussions on the new model of financial distribution, to support the English Premier League clubs and the rest of the football pyramid.

The Italian League

The Italian Football Federation decided to reduce the use of lighting in the stadiums of Italian League matches.

The federation said in an official statement earlier, that headlights will only be used for 4 hours, as part of the energy-saving policy currently in place in Italy.

The torches will be lit an hour before the start of the matches, which start before six o’clock Italian time.

While the stadium will be lit 90 minutes before the start of the matches that will be held after the mentioned time.

Egyptian League

The Cabinet announced the initiation of the implementation of the state’s plan to rationalize electricity consumption, which aims to achieve savings from natural gas used in operating power stations, with the aim of exporting it and benefiting from hard currency.

Counselor Nader Saad, the official spokesman for the Council of Ministers, said in previous statements that coordination will be made with the Ministry of Youth and Sports to bring the league matches, which will be held at nine in the evening, early in the evening.

Saad explained that the matches that are held at nine in the evening result in lighting the stadium from seven to eleven in the evening, and this is a large period of 4 hours, denying the request to hold football matches at three in the afternoon in the summer, saying: “Our goal is not to stress the players.”
