Mohamed Sharif, the Al-Ahly striker, attended the red team’s training during the past few hours, after recovering from the injury that kept him from participating in the last matches.
Sharif was absent from Al-Ahly’s training and matches due to a tear in the connective muscle, and he underwent a treatment and rehabilitation program until his full recovery.
A Source inside Al-Ahly said, in statements by Laila Koura, that Sharif participated in two training sessions for the Red Team, before getting a negative rest today from the camp.
He added: “Sherif was absent from the friendly Petrojet match, and he will be at the disposal of the technical staff in the Aswan match scheduled for Sunday.”
He explained: “The medical staff granted the Swiss coach, Marcel Koller, approval for Sherif’s participation in part of the Aswan match because of his experience and the sensitivity of confrontations after his absence for a long time.”
The technical staff gave their players a passive rest from the closed camp today, Friday, to return to the gathering tomorrow at Mukhtar Al-Teach Stadium.
