The National Bank team achieved a dear victory over Ismaily, 2-0, in the match that brought them together, this evening, Wednesday, in the Egyptian Premier League competition.
The Al-Ahly and Ismaili Bank match was held at Cairo International Stadium, as part of the 28th round of the Premier League.
Karim Bamboo opened the scoring for Al-Ahly Bank in the 35th minute, then Mohamed Hilal added the second goal in the 63rd minute from a penalty kick.
With this result, the National Bank escapes from the relegation centers temporarily, after it rose to the fifteenth place, with 28 points, one point behind Ismaili, who ranked fourteenth, and stopped at 29 points.
This is Ismaili’s second defeat in the last 10 league matches, noting that he beat Zamalek in the last round with two goals to one.

The National Bank entered the match with a squad consisting of: “Muhammad Abu Jabal, Saido Simboori, Amir Medhat, Yaqobu, Muhammad Bassiouni, Muhammad Fathi, Mahmoud Sayed, Muhammad Hilal, Mahmoud Qaoud, Ahmed Yasser, Karim Bamboo.”
The Ismaili formation came as follows: “Ahmed Adel, Muhammad Hashem, Muhammad Nasr, Essam Sobhi, Muhammad Desouki, Sergey Aka, Imad Hamdi, Ahmed Madbouly, Karim Al-Deeb, Muhammad Abdel Samie, Muhammad Al-Shami.”
Ismaily started the match quickly, carrying out an organized attack in the second minute, which ended with a dangerous cross from Ahmed Madbouly from the left, but was caught by goalkeeper Mohamed Abu Jabal.
The most dangerous opportunity came in the first minutes from Al-Ahly Bank, after a missile shot by Mahmoud Bassiouni, but it was blocked by Ismaili goalkeeper Ahmed Adel, and the ball went out to a corner kick in the sixth minute.

The events of the first half of the match ended with Al-Ahly Bank ahead of Ismaily, 1-0.
In the 59th minute, Ibrahim Noureddine awarded a penalty kick in favor of Al-Ismaili after blocking Karim Bamboo inside the penalty area, and video technology confirmed the validity of the violation.
Mohamed Hilal hit the penalty kick brilliantly, to score the second goal of the National Bank in the Ismaili window in the 63rd minute, making the score 2-0.
Muhammad Abu Jabal, the goalkeeper of the National Bank, blocked a powerful shot from Ismaili in the 91st minute, to keep his net clean.
Al-Ahly Bank maintained its two-goal lead over Ismaily until the end of the match, to score three precious points in the league.
