  • The OPPO smartphone found on Geekbench has the model number CPH2527 is the same as the one that was spotted earlier this year.

  • The Geekbench listing reveals that the OPPO smartphone will be powered by an octa-core processor codenamed ‘holi’. The maximum CPU clock speed is 2.21GHz. The chipset is likely to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, which powers mid-range smartphones like OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite and POCO X5. We can expect the new OPPO smartphone to also fall into the mid-range category.

As for the rest of the specifications, there are no details yet but we expect to have some information soon. As mentioned earlier, the smartphone is also said to feature a design similar to the Reno8 T 5G. Based on these speculations, we can expect a punch-hole selfie camera in the center of the screen, and curved edges. The OPPO Reno8 T 5G has a glossy back which is dubbed “OPPO glow” but we are not sure if this new phone will also follow suit.

In addition to this mysterious device, OPPO also has other smartphones in the pipeline. The company is expected to launch the Reno 10 Pro, Reno 10 Pro+, Find X6 Pro, Find X6, and F23 phones in India later this year. OPPO F23 will be launched first with its arrival in India on May 15th.
