The Statistics Authority indicated that the value of Egyptian imports from Arab countries increased to reach $17 billion in 2022, compared to $14 billion during the same period in 2021, an increase of $3 billion, an increase of 21.6%.

Saudi Arabia topped the list of the top ten Arab countries exporting to Egypt during the year 2022, as the value of Egypt’s imports amounted to $7.9 billion, followed by Kuwait at $3.3 billion, then the UAE at $2.9 billion, then Oman at $869.3 million, then Bahrain at $507.4 million, then Sudan at $504.4. Arab investments in Egypt record $8.2 billion in 2021

The number of Arab tourists from Arab countries to Egypt reached 2 million in 2021, compared to 0.9 million in 2020, an increase of 1.1 million, with an increase of 114.9%.

The number of tourist nights spent by Arab tourists reached 33.2 million tourist nights in 2021, compared to 15 million tourist nights in 2020, an increase of 18.2 million tourist nights, an increase of 121.6%.

Remittances from Egyptians in Arab countries recorded $21.9 billion during 2020-2021

The value of remittances of Egyptians working in Arab countries increased to record $21.9 billion during the fiscal year 2020-2021 compared to $19.8 billion during the fiscal year 2019-2020, an increase of $2.1 billion, an increase of 10.9%, while the value of remittances of Arabs working in Egypt decreased to reach 114.9. One million dollars during the fiscal year 2020-2021, compared to $117.8 million during the fiscal year 2019-2020, a decrease of 2.5%.

Saudi Arabia ranked first in the list of the top ten Arab countries in the value of remittances from Egyptian workers during the fiscal year 2020-2021, as the value of remittances from its employees amounted to $11.2 billion, followed by Kuwait at $4.4 billion, then the UAE at $3.4 billion, then Qatar at $1.5 billion. The Statistics Authority pointed out that the number of Egyptians residing in the Arab countries, according to the estimates of the mission, reached 7.1 million Egyptians by the end of 2021.
