The African Handball Cup Winners’ Cup, hosted by Al-Ahly Club, witnesses the provision of a distinguished medical service, on the sidelines of the matches that are held at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal and Al-Shuhada halls at Al-Jazira headquarters.
The medical committee provided equipped ambulances throughout the day; In anticipation of injury to any of the tournament participants, in addition to providing an integrated medical team present in the halls.
The committee assured the participating teams to provide medical care around the clock by coordinating with hospitals close to the residence hotels, in light of the various services provided to the tournament participants.
Khaled Al-Awadi, Director of Sports Activity at Al-Ahly, confirmed that there is an operations room that works around the clock to follow up on all conditions, monitor any problems and intervene immediately to remedy them, through a team of escorts for all missions and escorting their movements during their presence in hotels of residence or various halls.
He added that the responses of the missions participating in the tournament were very positive, especially that the club succeeded in providing all the necessary services for the comfort of everyone in order to focus on the matches.
Al-Awadi stressed that all club committees are working continuously and at full capacity in order to continue providing everything possible to ensure that the championship comes out in the best way possible.
