A source inside Zamalek Club revealed that the handball team’s participation fee crisis has been resolved in the African Cup Winners’ Cup final, against Al-Ahly, scheduled for Thursday evening, at the latter’s hall in Al-Jazeera.

The Zamalek club crisis struck during the past hours, due to non-payment of the rest of the participation fees in the continental championship, and the team’s threat as withdrawing from the final match if it was not paid before tonight’s match against Al-Ahly, which almost exposed the club to harsh penalties.
According to a source inside the White Castle, Zamalek officials are currently on their way to pay the subscription fees to the African Union, after reaching a solution regarding the provision of the required dues.
Zamalek qualified for the final match with a decisive victory over Sporting in the semi-finals, while Al-Ahly reserved its seat by defeating Moroccan Raja Agadir.

It is scheduled that Al-Ahly and Zamalek will meet at exactly seven o’clock in the evening today, Thursday, for the African Cup Winners’ Cup title in handball, which is preceded by the match for the third and fourth places, which brings Sporting together with its counterpart, Rajaa Agadir.
