Prices witnessed a decrease in the morning in the markets by between 4:6 pounds in the price of a gram, to rise now, by between 21:29 pounds.

The price of a gram of gold witnessed an increase of about 29 pounds during the middle of today’s trading, to record 2554 pounds.

The price of a gram of gold jumped to 2235 pounds, an increase of 25 pounds from the morning prices, and this caliber is the most widespread in Egypt.

The price of a gram of gold increased by 21 pounds, at 1915 pounds, and it is the best-selling caliber in Lower Egypt.

The price of the gold pound rebounded, by about 200 pounds, to record 17,880 pounds, and its weight reaches 8 grams of 21 carat.
Global gold prices
Gold prices fell on Thursday amid signs that an agreement to raise the US debt ceiling could be reached in Washington, which reduced its attractiveness as a safe haven. Fading expectations of early rate cuts in the US also took the luster out of non-yielding bullion.
The spot prices for the yellow metal were recorded, in the middle of Thursday’s trading session, on the New York Stock Exchange, at about $1976.10 an ounce, down $5.80.
Gold futures contracts on the New York Stock Exchange fell by $5.8, to record the price of the June contract for gold trading at $1979.1 an ounce.
