An official source in Giza Governorate revealed the date for announcing the results of the second semester for the academic year 2022/2023 for students in the fourth and fifth grades of primary school, stressing that the results of the two classes in schools will be announced uniformly at the governorate level during the next week.
He indicated, in exclusive statements to “The Seventh Day”, that the correction work was carried out first-hand, taking into account accuracy, confidentiality, and correction controls within the controls, noting that the Directorate will set a designated day during the next week to announce the results of the fourth and fifth grades of primary school uniformly at the governorate level, in order to facilitate students and parents. matters and ensuring that there is no overcrowding within educational institutions.
He emphasized the directorate’s keenness to standardize the announcement of the results of the second semester exams for the different stages and divide them into days, to be announced uniformly at the governorate level to all parents in a clear place inside the schools, in implementation of the directives of Major General Ahmed Rashid, Governor of Giza, and Ashraf Salouma, Director of the Directorate of Education in Giza.
It is worth noting that the Ministry of Education and Technical Education had clarified the methods for evaluating the results of the fourth and fifth grades of primary school, explaining that they are done in the form of four colors, which express the extent of the learner’s acquisition of knowledge and skills, and through the colors the learner recognizes the development of his performance, as follows: The blue color Green: indicates that the learner has exceeded expectations in acquiring the required knowledge and skills (from 85 to 100), green: indicates that the learner has acquired the required knowledge and skills (from 65 to less than 85), and yellow: indicates that the learner needs some Support (from 50 to less than 65), the red color: indicates that the learner has not mastered these required knowledge and skills, and still needs a lot of support (from 1 to less than 50), and if the student gets the red color in one of the courses, A second round test is held for him, and if he continues to get the red color, he is considered to have failed, and he has to repeat the school year again, and test it on what he studied in the two semesters together.
