Today, Thursday, the Family and Community Cohesion Committee of the Community Axis of the National Dialogue concluded a set of recommendations during today’s session to discuss guardianship over money.

The recommendations were as follows:
– Establishing a fund to invest and manage minors’ funds.
Amending the 1952 Law.
– Establishing investment committees to invest children’s money.
Setting a time for the prosecuting office to determine the guardian.
Transfer of guardianship to the mother immediately after the death of the father.
– Putting in place mechanisms to monitor the funds of minors and facilitate their investment.
– Speeding up the probationary procedures.
Amendment of some articles of guardianship of minors.
– State protection for disabled children from their beds, especially since some use them for begging.
Increasing the penalty for not caring for children.
– Simplifying procedures in the event of a change of governor.
– Limiting the period of responding to the governor’s requests, especially in the usual matters.
Approval of the educational mandate of the incubator.
– Introducing the principle of exceptional cases for the Hasiy Council.
– Re-activation of the small parliament.
Giving children the opportunity to have their opinions heard.
– Activating classroom schools.
Create a platform for psychological support for the child.
State protection for families unable to take care of a child.
– Amendment of the text of guardianship and that it is for the mother directly in the event of the death of the father.
– Reforming and facilitating inheritance procedures and reducing the list of prohibitions.
