The first football team of Al-Ahly Club is preparing to face the Tunisian Esperance team, which is scheduled for tomorrow evening, Friday, in the second leg of the semi-final round of the African Champions League.
An official source inside Al-Ahly Club confirmed that Mohamed Abdel Moneim, the team’s defender, is ready to participate in the team’s closing session and for tomorrow’s match against Esperance.

He added, “The medical examinations confirmed Abdel Moneim’s safety and his readiness to participate in the closing session this evening, and the Tunisian Esperance match tomorrow, Friday.”
Mohamed Abdel Moneim was injured in the friendly match, which was held between Al-Ahly and the club’s youth team, the day before yesterday, Tuesday, after the ball hit his face, causing bleeding from his nose, and he underwent careful medical examinations, fearing that he might be injured by something dangerous.
The first football team of Al-Ahly club will conclude its training at seven in the evening today, at the touch stadium on the island. In preparation for the Tunisian Esperance match.
It is worth noting that the first leg match of the African Champions League semi-finals ended with Al-Ahly defeating Tunisia’s Esperance by three goals without a response, in the match that was held in Tunisia last Friday evening.
The technical meeting for the Al-Ahly and Tunisian Esperance match was held today, Thursday, at the club’s headquarters in Al-Jazirah, in the presence of representatives of the two teams, representatives of the Confederation of African Football, and the arbitration staff.
During the meeting, it was agreed that Al-Ahly would wear its traditional uniform consisting of a red shirt, white shorts and red drink, while the Esperance team would wear the entire navy crew.
