The first volleyball team of Zamalek Club defeated its Zambian counterpart, Green Buffaloes, in the match that was held between them today, Thursday, as part of the African Club Championship competitions for the current season.
The Zamalek Volleyball team won at the expense of its Zambian Green Buffaloes counterpart, 3-0, in the meeting that brought them together in the 8th round of the African Club Championship.
Thanks to this victory, the Zamalek Volleyball team succeeded in qualifying for the semi-finals of the African Club Championship competitions.

It is noteworthy that the number of teams participating in the tournament is 15 teams, which were divided into 4 groups, which will be hosted by Tunisia during the period from May 11 to the 22 of the same month.
The Zamalek volleyball team succeeded in winning the African Championship 5 times, in 1984, 1987, 2008, 2009 and 2012.
Zamalek plane aspires in the treble
Zamalek aspires to win the African Championship title to achieve the treble, after winning the domestic double, the Premier League and the Egyptian Cup.
The technical staff of the team is led by: Ahmed Mustafa Ashour as technical director, Walid Abdel-Al as an assistant coach, Sherif El-Sadat as a load planner, Ahmed Saudi as a doctor, Abdel-Rahman Ghanem as a physiotherapist, Ahmed Shaalan as an administrative director and Hassan Abdel-Razek as an administrator, and supervises the indoor games in the White Castle, Ahmed Mortada Mansour, a member of the Board of Directors of Zamalek Club.
