The head of the council of the Beni Mellal-Khenifra region, Adel Barakat, participated; Along with the governor of the region and the workers of the provinces: Azilal, Khouribga and Fakih Bensalah, in the works of the twenty-first session of the Administrative Council of the Urban Agency of Beni Mellal, held at the headquarters of the region’s wilaya under the presidency of the representative of the Minister of National Territorial Development, Urbanization, Housing and City Policy, and the Director of Territorial Preparation, and in the presence of the heads of the communes as well as the heads of Elected councils and professional chambers, in addition to representatives of the concerned decentralized departments, in line with the legal requirements updated for the tasks of urban agencies.
The activities of this session were characterized by reviewing the outcome of the Foundation’s achievements during the year 2022 and presenting the work program for the year 2023 and the expected work program 2024-2025.
The meeting also culminated in the approval of the Administrative Council, unanimously, of the literary and financial report for the year 2022, a work program for the year 2023 and its draft budget, in addition to the projected work program for the years 2024-2025.
The work of this council was also marked by the signing of a number of agreements, and the matter relates to:
The first agreement: a framework agreement between the Urban Agency of Beni Mellal and the Sultan Moulay Suleiman University of Beni Mellal with the aim of setting a general framework to consolidate the principle of partnership and develop cooperation in fields of common interest between the Sultan Moulay Suleiman University of Beni Mellal and its various affiliated institutions and the Urban Agency of Beni Mellal;
– The second agreement between the Urban Agency of Beni Mellal and the Territorial Community of Abi Al-Jaad; Determining the conditions for financing and completing the design of the development of the city of Abi Al-Jaad, as well as the procedural processes related to the implementation of this project.
The third agreement between the Urban Agency of Beni Mellal and the Territorial Collective of Sidi Aissa Ben Ali aims to finance the completion of the design project for the development of the Awlad Amrah Center.
The fourth agreement between the Urban Agency of Beni Mellal and the Territorial Collective of Naour regarding financing the completion of the Naour Urban Cluster Development Design Project.
The fifth agreement, which is a partnership and cooperation agreement related to technical assistance aimed at preparing building designs, in a joint responsibility between the communal council of Tizi-Nesli and the cell of architects in Beni Mellal, with technical and legal supervision from the Urban Agency of Beni Mellal for the territorial commune of Tizi-Nesli.
– The sixth agreement, which is a partnership and cooperation agreement related to technical assistance aimed at preparing building designs, in a joint responsibility between the Ait Iqbili Municipal Council and the Architects Cell of Beni Mellal, with technical and legal supervision from the Urban Agency of Beni Mellal for the territorial commune of Ait Iqbili.
