She added, during a session entitled “Guardianship Issues and Guardianship over Money”, which is organized by the Family Committee of the Community Axis within the activities of the National Axis, today, Thursday: “It is difficult to talk about family cohesion or psychological and social peace, in light of the presence of hundreds and thousands of families who suffer from the absence of one of their children.” in prisons, and subject them to serious human rights violations; Because they expressed their opinions and not because of a crime they committed.

And she stressed the importance of not ignoring these rituals when talking about families, the future of generations, and the accumulated grudges in society and in the hearts of generations and young people, calling for the speedy release of all prisoners of conscience.

She noted that “personal status laws impose a rigid division of roles between women and men; It is no longer appropriate for the times,” she said, saying that those laws grant custody to women only, and guardianship over life and money to men only.

And she continued, “I raised an orphan girl. My mother died when I was 8 years old, and my father raised us. Is it reasonable for me to accept my aunt, grandmother, and aunt to take me from my father and raise us in her home while he sends her alimony and sees us in a vision?” It is unacceptable.”

And she continued: “I do not accept, if God forbid, my husband died before me, for others to interfere in our lives and tell me how to spend on my children and raise them, and I do not accept to be deprived of my natural right to marry again, otherwise I will lose custody.” Noting that the rigid division system needs a radical change. and comprehensive.

Today, Thursday, the first sessions of the societal axis of the national dialogue, which includes 6 sub-committees, were launched.

Four sessions are held today, two sessions are devoted to issues of guardianship and guardianship over money that are on the schedule of the Family and Community Cohesion Committee, while in parallel the other two sessions are devoted to discussing national identity issues included in the work of the Culture and National Identity Committee.
